 In News

James Suckling has positioned El Corralón de Bodegas Jiménez-Landi in a recent article as one of the 8 best garnachas from Spain that can be purchased in international markets for less than the symbolic price of $35.

Through one of its famous wine tasting reports James Suckling highlights the evolution of Spanish red wines made from Grenache, wines that are considered among the most exciting and with one of the best value for money currently produced in Spain.

The article mentions the freshness and Mediterranean touch of Spanish Grenache, and points to the Sierra de Gredos as one of the most fascinating production areas from a winemaking point of view, due to its altitude and its granitic and sandy soils, finding similarities to the wines of French Burgundy.

James Suckling identifies in the article 8 Spanish garnachas with 92 points or more, among them our El Corralón, as examples of fresh, Mediterranean and seductive Spanish wines at a reasonable price.
