Vines in Autumn
In autumn the yellow, ochre and red tones invade our vineyards after harvesting... The field is shut down. The grapes are already locked in the cellar and we prepare for the harsh winter that will soon come...
This year, once again, we have learned things from nature... The winter was dry and cold, the spring was warm and without rain... the summer was not very hot, but dry and long... Everything was predicting that the grape harvest would come much earlier, and it came early...
We also thought that the wines would be harder and more powerful than other years, but here we were wrong... Nature is wise... And, although we have had smaller grapes, the plants have regulated themselves by producing 30% less than in normal vintages... Less production, warm vintage, but we have maintained the balance...
We will have less wine... But they will be good wines.... This is the magic of nature that, day by day, teaches us new things, and that awakens our illusion for this wonderful work...
